2026 BWCF Committee

Blue Whale Comedy Festival Committee Member Roles

Blue Whale Comedy Festival committee members play a vital role in helping bring BWCF to life each year. Committee members support the festival through promotion, on-the-ground execution, and community-building efforts that ensure the weekend runs smoothly and continues to grow.

Committee roles may include, but are not limited to:

Street Team — Assist with marketing and promotion leading up to the festival, including postering, tabling, flyering, and overall buzz-building. Street Team members are expected to use their personal platforms, including social media and stage time, to promote BWCF in a fun, positive, and authentic way.

Show Running — Select committee members will support live show execution during the festival. Responsibilities include communicating with comedians ahead of their stage time, keeping sets running on schedule, and helping maintain smooth transitions between performers and venues.

Sponsorship Support — Assist by identifying and connecting Guthrie Green’s sponsorship department with potential partners or leads. This may include product donations, financial sponsorships, or collaborative partnerships (e.g., social media cross-promotion or tabling exchanges).
Please note: Committee members do not have the authority to promise or negotiate sponsorships. All agreements must be reviewed and approved by Guthrie Green.

Important Disclaimer

Serving on the Blue Whale Comedy Festival committee does not guarantee a performance slot at BWCF 2026. All comedians — including committee members — must submit their act through the standard submission process to be considered for the festival.
